I have read if you have a partner that works 30 or more hours a week regardless of wage, then you receive no ESA is this correct?

How would one be expected to live if the partner is on minimum wage at 30 hours or so, surely that cannot support two people and household bills. Anybody know if this is correct?

Thanks

"Therefore, regardless of what your partner earns, because he's working more than 24 hours a week, you'd lose all of your ESA. The government may concede you are unfit for work, but it won't pay you. Remember, if you become part of a couple, you have to tell the DWP."
