Need some help

Today I was given a tablet antihistamine for a really bad rash I get each night.

I've read the side effects of this drug and I couldn't help but notice is mentions 'RINGING IN THE EARS' I'm really sensitive when it comes to my ears and I'm really scared of getting tinnitus from this tablet.

Really though what are the chances of this effecting my ears? I need this tablet for my rash which is getting worse but I don't want my ears to be effected

Do you know which antihistamine? They are usually really gentle and the main side effect anybody gets is fatigue or dry mouth. I have been on several for many years due to allergies and have never had ringing. They have to list anything that is possible at all, but if it's just for a rash I am assuming you are taking it short-term anyway?
