I had my consultant appointment on Tuesday this week after waiting 7 weeks and was expecting my Sigmoidoscope in a good few weeks after that. But it's now next wednesday :ohmy:
I'm glad it's soon really, It's just routine hopefully as I've had some blood when I've gone the toilet a couple of times recently.
The information says I will have a enema before hand, I thought I would just have laxatives at home or something but wasn't expecting an enema. Has anyone had this before their Sigmoidoscope in Hospital. What does it entail ?
I'm more worried about this and what happens than the sigmoidoscope.
Am I best eating certain foods before the enema, It doesn't say anything in the information.
Just want to get it all over with now as easily and soon as possible so I can forget about it as my mind is spinning at the moment.
