I learned a technique in CBT Therapy. I am a former health anxiety sufferer (still from time to time get relapses). When I relapse, here is what I learned to do in CBT and it helps very much:

Close your eyes and breathe in and out using your belly to breath. Start to focus in on the part of your body that is bothering you. For example, for health anxiety sufferers who get electric zaps, burning skin ice pick headaches, skipped heartbeats, etc.

Really focus on the part of the body that is bothering you and tell yourself it is not going to cause you harm. Try to accept what you feel.

Once you have focused in for a few minutes, keep practicing your belly breathing and you will feel more calm and relaxed.

The main thing is to accept what you are feeling.
