Driving Again

Hello, I'm new here :)

I have had agoraphobia since 2014. I have made progress in some areas, but I have regressed in other areas. Right now I only travel in my hometown by way of my boyfriend driving. I want to be able to drive by myself again. I've gotten my own car back, but I don't feel brave enough to drive myself. I live on a busy road now also.
Any suggestions? I want out of this agoraphobic prison!

Would it help if u followed your boyfriend driving? Just up the road and then you could follow him home again. That used to help me when i couldnt drive anywhere at all. I can now drive around town on a good day but havent got much further than that. Dont give up, it will get better especially if you are willing to

I have been able to go slightly further than normal if I have someone following me. Obviously it is not ideal and not a long term solution, but to start off with, it can be a massive help whilst you get your confidence back.
