Hi. Just before xmas I advertised on another forum for people to help me form an anxiety support group, meeting in Colchester, Essex. Two people replied and we now meet every Saturday morning at 10:30 to discuss our experiences, share tips, and generally try to support one another. I am a 39 year old man with GAD, social anxiety and avoidance. There is also a 30 year old woman, with social anxiety, and a 38 year old woman recovering from agoraphobia and panic attacks. However, the lady with agoraphobia has had a bit of a relapse and won't be coming for a while.
If anyone else would like to come along, you'd be very welcome. The group is pretty informal- just a few people meeting for a coffee and a chat.:)
