Throat scare

I was worrying about my throat once again and like the psycho I am I started putting my fingers in there to see if there was anything and i found a soft lump down there now I am freaking out. It is like an extra piece of skin about as big as a 5p. Someone please help. I think I felt it like 5 months ago and it was the same please please please someone help I am only 19

You can start by not sticking your fingers down your throat. You have no idea what you're feeling or how to interpret it. I'm 100% sure it's just normal anatomy you're feeling.

Have you started any therapy or meds for your anxiety?

Thanks fishmanpa you are right its not a good idea but so hard sometimes. I havent had any anxiety meds but am beginning to think they would be a good idea.

There are going to be lots of lumps and bumps down there. I had globus hystericus at 19 and off and on for years. Its when you feel a lump in your throat, keep swallowing etc etc. Its all a symptom of anxiety but it is not serious. Don't worry.
