Throat weird feeling

Every time I eat spicy food in the past 2 weeks I feel the hiccup feeling in my throat but dont get hiccups just the feeling for maybe 10-15 seconds after I swallow. Has anyone had this or any idea on what this could be?

Yeah that seems like the trigger but id never heard of it causing this feeling before but i guess it can.
