Buddy lists

Hey guys,

I just wondered what adding people to your 'buddy list' does?

I have a few people on there adn it doesn't seem to do anything, lol.

Hi there :)
I've noticed that down at the bottom right where it tells who is online - if someone on my buddy list is online there is a little cross next to their name. That's about all that I know about it:shrug:

It can be used to only allow certain members to PM you.

In your User CP you will see this....

You may limit the receipt of private messages to just moderators and those on your buddy list (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/profile.php?do=editlist). Other members who attempt to send messages to you will be told that you have disabled private messaging.

Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators

If you check the box then only admins and those on your buddy list can send you a PM.

How do I even add friends?
I click on it it says contacts I type a name and see them and press save, do they have to accept for them to show on my list? I’m baffled just says contacts and save changes.
