Hi everyone

I have not been around much lately as I have felt really good. I had a slight panic attack the other day but controlled it and got through it.

Anyway just wanted to say I have joined a local running club and go out twice a week and it has really helped me. I recommend this to everyone. In my club no one is left behind you get praise from others and learn about your local area.

At the moment life is positive for me. I wanted to share so you all know you can get through your anxiety stay strong and keep moving forwards

Exercise is always good, even if you can't do a lot. And just as important as medication and supplements.
Well done!

Hi Clare,

It's great to hear you are doing well.

Exercise is definitely a good one. Even if it's just walking it helps decrease that adrenaline we all have too much of for too long.

Running sounds a great way to exercise. I know cycling is one they recommend too, especially for depression. The social element is good and I bet it will keep you more motivated than running on your own.

Being able to stop the panic attack is excellent. Things can keep improving from there now you can see you can take that control.

When we've spoke before it has been about how you worry about how others perceive you or something you have done. I think what you are doing now will greatly help you as I looked at that as a lack of self confidence, self belief and low self esteem and exercise (and socialising) can be very good for this.http://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/sport/t31160.gif (http://yoursmiles.org/t-sport.php?page=4)
