Scared about doing something different

Hi

I work in a retail shop at the weekends and this weekend my manager asked me to do a shift in another branch to help them out. I'm 21, I don't drive so my manager us taking me there and picking me up but I'm really nervous something bad will happen. It's about a 30 minute drive away and I'm scared we'll be in a car crash or something. To be honest any kind of change in regular routine makes me nervous something will go wrong but the motorway you go on to get there is known for accidents. Help please :'(

Your manager must really be a bad driver if you fear he is bound to crash his car taking you on one journey to this other branch haha.

You've got to go, show yourself it's always just anticipatory anxiety and that what you fear never happens.

Tell your manager you want danger money if he's driving.
