I've read that clonazepam and valproate acid havr crossed-tolerance effects. My clonazepam tolerance have build up to the point where I had to take 4 2mg pill to feel the effects - so I stopped before I get dependent on it.
My question is, I recently started taking Valproate acid and what I want to know is does this medication can increase the tolerance to clonazepam? Will it work since I have a high tolerance already?
I hope to stop clonazepam for awhile, to low the tolerance and come back to using only one pill during my panic attacks.

If you have been taking clonazepam for a while and have become tolerant it is not sensible to just suddenly stop as one can have terrible withdrawals. You should speak to yor doctor about tapering off.
