Does anyone have any thoughts on Trazodone for anxiety?
I am really struggling with my anxiety and lack of sleep right now.

Hi Mugs,

Have you tried quetiapine? It's an antipsychotic but used in very small doses for sleep. I know a few people who swear by it. Didn't work for me unfortunately but may bbe worth looking into?

I may have to go back on a low dose of mirtazapine to see if it helps me sleep. I will post this question again and see if I get any response this time.
I don't want to but I have to do something.
Took a zopicline early this morning and sleep for 3 hours.
I have been offered antipsychotics for sleep but I have declined.
His are you doing Shaz?

Doc refused Mirtazapine, started low dose of Trazodone and have slept better.
Doc says it will help with anxiety too.
Anybody have any luck with this for anxiety and if so how long did it take?

I'm taking both trazadone (50mg) and mirtazapine (15mg).

I can honestly say that traz is the best drug I've been on for anxiety and I've tried lots over the years.

I did try trazodone 100mg on its own in the past and I slept badly on it, so it could be the combination of the 2 above at those dosages that helps me of course.

TRAZODONE does help with anxiety...i notice that when i take 100 mg at night of it i can get threw alot of my day with out my klonapin...right now i have run out of klonapin and i am ok...uncomfortable but ok.... i have one left and im trying to spare it...also alcohol helps numb the withdrawls.. so right now im drinking wine and hoping i wont need to take my last pill.
i have the worst anxiety there is to have so anyone reading this with my prob shd def get on trazodone...it really helps maintain anxiety and with drawls a little bit
