Just been put up to 250

I have just been put up to 250 from 150 and was wondering how long it would take to notice a difference ???

Any advice or good story's welcome X

When I increased my dose from 75 mg to 150 I felt a difference on the second day. Return of mild side effects didn't last long either.

Hi Tristan,

Some people notice improvements almost immediately (eg Cokesmyth5 above). Others may take a couple of weeks - it depends on the person.

Generally, however, the response is faster and more positive than SSRIs and related meds.

Do you take with food ?

I don't especially think much about taking it with food or not. Taking it with food may help even out the effect over a day.

Got a real problem with eating at the moment and only eat in the evening due to quetiapine 200mg

Sorry to hear about your eating problem. Are you getting enough food overall?

I take the maximum dose of 600 mg daily of pregabalin. Based on what others are taking, that's probably unusual, but it does control my anxiety.

I do eat in the evening so am getting something , how long did it take to get to 600 ?

Hi Tristan,

I don't think it took long. It was the early days when not much was known about dose levels, and I think I said something like "Just give me the maximum dose" to the doctor. I had been suffering some intense anxiety at the time, and it really helped. I have been fine at that dose and not felt any tolerance (apart from reduced side effects) or need to increase it.

No improvement as yet but remain hopeful also got some Lorazipam to help calm me down , life can be so unfair for no reason and I hope one day I can look back on this and help others X

Not yet just feel a bit tired at the moment but that might be the quetiapine increase X X
