Hi, just after a bit of advice please. Two weeks ago I increased my venlafaxine (which I take for GAD) from 150g to 225g, should the increased dose be woring yet? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Potentially yes, but increases can take a while to work. It's literally like asking how long is a piece of string. It may be that the dose is still not strong enough. Prescribing these meds is not an exact science and GAD can be a pain in the arse to treat - fighting GAD is like trying to kill a hydra by attacking the heads. You need to strike at the body. Are you getting any additional support to deal with the GAD?

It sounds like you're still in the early days of your treatment and recovery. Speak to the doctor who prescribed it if you've got any concerns.
