Everytime my wife does routine mammography, I think the worst and lose a month of my life to worry waiting for results.
Everytime my wife does a routine pap smear, I go totally crazy and think it will be terminal cancer.
Now, she went to a routine checkup of moles, and doctor removed one because it looked suspicious. Seems to have been a relatively small one, and doctor was not very worried. But now I am since long planning for the worst of the worst case scenarios.
I just want to stop being like this!! And have a more "balanced" perspective like many other people!! These tests and precautions are to AVOID something really bad happening. I know this, but my body goes into worry/panic overdrive and I google about fatal cancer spreading from moles etc. etc. !!!
