I have this bulge in my arm and it doesn't feel like a normal pimple. I have issues with acne but only ever on the face. It does have a very small head but it's not the same as the ones on a zit and it isn't in the center. It's also pretty swollen and red, it hurts when I don't even touch it. Heat emits from it as well.

I know this might seem stupid... but I know it's not a zit.. Yet, can blood clots of any kind of any kind of head to it that secrets liquids?

It also hurts like a charlie horse...

Please, can someone help... I need someone to talk about this with... Everyone in my life won't.

It sounds like a sting or bite from an insect.

If it radiates heat and is itchy.
Normally red/pink colour.

Try antiseptic cream, if you do not have any, try some honey, vinegar or alcohol.
Calamine lotion will stop it itching and take the heat down. x

A bite or sting will also hold liquid which is actually poison.
Do not poke, scratch or have anything rub against it.
It will normally take up to a week to disappear.
Main thing is to keep the area cool and not wear anything over it, this will make it worse. Cover it up with some lint or plaster with antiseptic cream if you have to wear sleeves.
I get loads of them, because I work in the garden. x

I have a tattoo that I got about a year ago and it is now making the lines on the tattoo raise a little bit and that is in an area separate from but very close to where it's swelling. Could it be a staph infection? And a blood clot wouldn't have a head of any kind, right? Thank you so much for replying.

It also doesn't itch at all...

It will not be a blood clot. Blood clots look like bruises.
Sometimes the area near to the infected can swell slightly.
It may not have got to the itchy stage.
It is obviously an infection caused by whatever got to you.
It need antiseptic, even TCP will help. x

Well it does look kind of bruised.... But it did ooze some stuff and I wouldn't think a blood clot would do that?

Clots don't "ooze" ;) As has been said, it sounds like a bite or something.

So I was right in thinking that a clot wouldn't have a head to it after all :) I appreciate you helping with my question! It means a lot whenever someone just takes the time to do so.

The head was only visible after some clear white liquid came out and I tried to "pop" it but it wouldn't and now you can't see the head of it but that is where it hurts the worst... I hate having anxiety... I am losing my life to it..
