Cramps back of both knees?

Shoes issue? Backs of knees only like a growing cramp but I'm 23. Albeit a small 23 year old.

Sometimes if on train to work and I'm standing certain angle for a while it feels sore. Either leg. I'm not overweight. Normal right?

Happens to me a couple of times a year. So bad they keep me up at night and in both knees. I am 45 now but it has happened since I was about your age. I was an avid runner then, not sure how much that played into it.
