Fast heart rate

Had the heart palpatations on and off for months now but today my heartbeat is over 100 and hasn't slowed down in a few hours now! Is this normal for anxiety? I've been alright all week and today the palpatations started but never had the over 100 before

Yes, 100 is easy to reach and stay at with anxiety. I know for a fact that even being concerned enough to take my pulse can raise my heart rate 10 to 15 BPM and make it seem like it was at 100 when it actually wasn't even if I don't feel any more anxious when taking it. :)
