I'm driving myself crazy because my son had a fever and then he threw up. He was so tired and out of it. I googled the symptoms and leukemia popped up a nd he keeps saying he has a headache. This morning I took him to the doctor and she told me he had the stomach flu. I should just trust her but this anxiety thing has my mind racing! I read last night people mistake leukemia for the stomach flu. I can't sleep.

I think it's natural to worry about your kids, it makes you a good parent. But remember, kids get sick ALL THE TIME with bugs that are not anything serious. Hope he feels better soon.

The odds of it being a stomach flu are much higher than the odds of it being leukemia. When in doubt, I always rely on the statistical likelihood of things. :)
