Has anyone had one spot on their head that hurts? Right side of my head about a fingers length above my ear. I'm so scared it's a brain tumor. I have a doctors appointment in 3 weeks but my anxiety is through the roof. I'm wondering if my anxiety is what's causing this headache,as I have been worry about right sided shoulder and neck pain for a few weeks now. My anxiety is taking over and I don't know what to do about it. Does anyone have some reassurance? Thank you!!!

A brain tumour wouldn't cause an ache in one area of your head. Brain tumours produce headaches by raising intracranial pressure, this would give you a severe unrelenting headache that would cover pretty much your entire head.

It's highly likely that this pain is due to tense muscles, your scalp has an array of muscles, and the area you mention has muscles connected to the neck and jaw. The pain is most probably radiating from one of these areas.

Relax, this sounds absolutely nothing like a brain tumour headache.
