Iv had tinitus for over 30 years and have learned to live with it,but over the last week it is so loud that i can hear it over any outdoor sound and in my flat.esp when i goto bed very loud,this streses me out and anxiety goes sky high,this then makes my tinitus even louder,so loud that i feel i cant hear anything over it..then panic sets in and my night of trying to sleep is over.iv had it in both ears over 30 years but this feels like someone has cranked uo the volume button to full..its driving me mad and i cant cope with it..my doc looked in my ears and said they are both heavy with wax.so on oil drops for 7 days .he said to me the wax will make the tinitus louder and will go after he syringes them next monday..is this true ?has anyone eles had this.just looking for reasurance because it didnt creep up,it was just full blown full on one morning last week when i woke.
