Drinking Alcohol

Hi,

In the last 6 months or so I have noticed that whenever I drink more than say 2 pints my heart starts to race and I feel the next morning like I have consumed a whole keg. I never have had this issue in the past. The heart doesn't really start up until I lay down for bed. And then wham, starts to beat harder and faster. I really only get this when drinking.

Does anyone else experience this?

Alcohol is a stimulant which is why it can cause anxiety to feel worse during the acute phase. You are certainly not alone.
