Thought i felt lump on Testicle

The other night i was checking my testicles and i thought i had touched something odd on the front of my testicle but since then i have tried to check again but because ive been tense and nervous i cant really feel for it , so basically what im saying is would a lump be very hard to miss if there was one?

Recently I had my own scare about testicle cancer, when i thought I felt a lump, so went to the GP who also was very unsure whether he felt a lump or not (or just a tube) he did referred me to hospital to see a specialist who could not feel any signs of tumours but did booked me in to see an ultrasound, all what was found was some some small cysts relating to the epididymitis, which at the stage does not need anything doing.

When he referred me boy I was panicing like mad.

Well I think the solution is simple- keep checking- see if you feel it again, remember temperature and mornings make a difference- hernias may not be prominent after you've stood up a while, or they may be very prominent after you have done.
Try and recall the time and if you were hot when you thought when you felt it, like I say though, odds are it was a trick of the mind.
