Since I can remember I couldn't concentrate in school. The teacher could be talking directly to me and hardly anything would absorb. The inability to focus had a huge domino effect - a classroom setting brings on severe anxiety and makes me concentration issues worse. My anxiety subsides immediately when the class ends. However, my concentration is still nil.

Long story short -- my inattentiveness and brain fog is constant; social anxiety is the biggest result in not addressing the underlying issue. Depression is surprisingly not an issue.

My first doctors appointment is next week - those who may have a similar story - along with CBT (which I want) what is the best way to augment a stimulant for someone who has strong (life long) social anxiety?
