View Full Version : How to break the vicious circle?

Hi everyone,
For the last week or so ive been stuck in the vicious circle of HA. Everytime I feel as much as little tingle inside my mouth or tongue i become stressed and anxious and my symptom is getting dry mouth. The thing is I KNOW the dry mouth comes from anxiety, because I only get dry mouth when I feel anxious about it, which obviously makes it worse and my mind wonders to think I should have some sort of terrible illness.
It's ridiculous because everyday I wake up feeling better, and if I dont think about it everything goes fine (yesterday I didnt think about it at all), but when i start evaluating how i feel, if its dry or moist, i immediately get anxious and my mouth gets dry again, and the worry comes with it.
I wanted to ask for any suggestions to break this vicious circle, because it truly is horrible being stuck with this.

Distract yourself as much as possible and, if you can, see your doctor for peace of mind. :)
