Can I take diazepam while on sertraline

Hi I'm on 25mg of sertraline for anxiety which is really not working. I am really anxious and edgy today I have been prescribed 5mg Valium as and when required I just wanted to know if I could take the two safely

Yes they are fine together, though I'd suggest trying half a valium at first as the less the better :)

Absolutely but get off it asap as my GP had me on Escitalopram 3 years that never worked and Lorazepam, took Lorazepam away and it's ruined my life. I intend to complain when I find a new doctor.
