Serequel question

Just wanted to ask a question about quetiapine /serequel.. Do any of you guys know if it is dangerous to stay on this medication for more than ten years or for the rest of someones life? And also, if someone comes off this medication, are they likely to have insomnia?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
