So, my neighbor's child is ill/puking and everything..and I am just absolutely a mess over thinking that my children will get it. I know it's not the most rational way to think, but I honestly am sick over the thought.

I am not really sure how to just kinda say "well if they get it then we will deal with it"...instead I am sitting here obsessing over it and just so afraid that they will get sick. :(

I understand totally - I get totally obsessed that my children will be ill. It can be all I think about.

Try to focus on something else. You cannot stop them get bugs/infections (or so I try to tell myself)
Think positive.
