Worried about drooling

Sometimes when i am lying down with my mouth open after a few minutes i notice that i drool and saliva comes out from my mouth also every so often i notice my lips become wet from saliva in the mouth coming through my lips and i have read this could be because of weakening of the muscles around the mouth which has me really worried as this points to all the scary diseases. Is this serious someone please help as along with my percieved slurred speech this is freaking me out.

Also recently i had a sore on the left side of my mouth which im worried could be caused by drooling.
