Sore lump on head

Sore bump on top left side of head. Don't remember bumping it or anything. Only sore to the touch. About the size of a dime. Anyone?

You've probably bumped it in your sleep, either that or it could be a sebaceous cyst or something. If it doesn't clear then see your doctor.

I don't know if you can see it or not. But when I scratch it it burns and stings.

It feels like part of my skull but I have never noticed it before.

I get that sensation occasionally if I've been wearing my hair in a ponytail and some of my hair has been pulled into it in an awkward direction! Sounds crazy! But it genuinely makes my scalp really sensitive and painful. Washing my hair usually resolves the problem. Possibly not what you're describing but thought I'd mention it anyway! Hope it feels better soon.

I have actually had my hair up for like 4 days straight and slept with it up one night. So maybe that's causing the sensitivity and it's actually just a bone. Guess we will see. Thanks for sharing!

the other possibility is that you have a pimple or ingrown hair
