Ocd often attack on the things we cherish alot. true or false??

Definitely true for me.

There's a pattern in all mine - it would hurt my parents directly or indirectly. My parents are the most important people in my world and always have been.

And I've seen it so many times when talking to OCD sufferers. Intrusive thoughts aim at what will shock us the most and that is going to be what is most abhorrent to our deep beliefs and values. That's what the medical professionals state, it's what they describe them as in psychology.

Yes, OCD indentifies things you love the most, your weakneses, and attacks them. It's always like that. That's why you need to identify it, understand it and ignore it.

It's based on doubt and people only tend to doubt and fear things more if they go against their normal understandings. Problem with ocd is that people become fixated on these doubts.
