Problems with memory

I'm having trouble remembering things, specially short-term memory, and i'm very young, just 23. Does someone have the same problem?
After some research i foud thath anxiety really makes your memory go nutz...

I find when my anxiety is bad, my memory is awful. I can walk into a room to fetch something and ccompletely forget why I'm there. I Forget people's names, dates, things I need to do for work etc. I have to write everything down.

I know... it's been a rough year, GAD hit me hard, and the worst is that this is affecting my job...
