had enough of this

Hi

We had a lovely mothers day and drove my sister back to London.

Started feeling really dizzy, my legs didnt work properly and then my heart started.

Went to a drop in clinic, the nurse took my pulse and sent me straight to A&E.

OMG, I had a ECG, fine but my heart was going 120 beats per minute!!

This lasted for 3 hours.

Is this normal to last so long?

Is it true there is no problem with my heart and its just the "anxiety"?

Im totally fed up.

My first pa ended up in casualty my ecg fine but heart rate well up lasted all night, since then discovered that im suffering panic attacks and anxiety,this site has great info on it take care things will get better.

Hi - its all down to anxiety. My kids surprised me with gifts and visits on mothers day and I virtually had a pa with the shock of seeing them - I couldnt breathe and felt dizzy and my heart raced all day yesterday and I spent most of last night with a racing heart and feeling panicky - shock and excitement and anxiety can all cause this. I feel fine this morning just very very tired and headachey and up ready for work as normal - trying to forget the mixture of feelings from yesterday - excietement and anxiety!! Wenjoy x
