Is an achy jaw related to anxiety? Have heart palps, chest pain, body vibrating etc but I've had an achy jaw all day and it's not going away! Does anyone else suffer with this?

I get it but mine isn't due to anxiety it's due to TMD, perhaps yours is too? Do you find yourself feeling tense? Do you clench your teeth? All common causes. I can't even eat French loaf anymore as my jaw gets stiff and my head feels like it will explode. Are you also stressed alongside your anxiety? I find I get headaches when I'm stressed and although i do have TMD I definitely feel tension in my jaw, neck and temples when I'm particularly stressed.

I've had it on and off the last few weeks which hasn't lasted long but I've had it all day today it just feels very achy and heavy? I'm not actually stressed about anything this anxiety just won't go away but I honestly don't have anything I'm worrying about! I have ringing in my ears quite a lot and buzzing feeling in my body

Yep, my jaw, neck and shoulders really ache. I think it is tension.

I bet you're clenching in your sleep.

I was thinking tension as well I have a mouth guard for night time off the dentist which I got a few months back nothing related to my anxiety but I haven't used it as it feels quite tight on my teeth! I've also had a water bottle I've been using last few weeks which is quite hard suction so thinking maybe that could be to do with it too
