Leg Pain - Tell me it isn't something serious!

I've been struggling with health anxiety for quite a while now. I recently felt that I had gotten better, but then the fears came back when I saw a PSA about meningitis and realized that I hadn't gotten my vaccination for it yet (I'm 16)
.
I just recently had a cold but feel like the symptoms are going away. However, I still fear meningitis and some muscular diseases. Today, my legs feel so sore that I almost collapsed when I was at the mall with my mom. Please tell me I don't have a muscular disease or some kind of paralyzing disorder!

You have a cold virus and these can make you feel very weak. I have had so many that have made me feel like my legs will give way walking across a room and they ache alot as well. this is just the effects of viruses on our muscles and body as a whole.

You will find that as your cold symptoms go so does your muscle ache and weakness.
