Citalopram reduction

Hi. Just wondering how people have felt when reducing. Since reducing from 7.5mg to 5mg I have this intense anxiety which overcomes me, I feel dizzy sick and shaky. Can anyone relate?

I have been on citalopram before and when I came off the first time I had awful brain zaps and felt quite anxious. I didn't reduce mine steadily though. These did go though, but I remember it tool a few weeks before I felt normal again. I've seen other people on here suggesting a benzo to help with the withdrawal and starting. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Luelle. I am so sensitive to it I have to do it literally over months any reduction I think. I have palpatations and benzodiazepines can also make that worse so I'm scared to try it.
