Dizziness when standing up?

Hi guys
Hopefully some of you can relate.
I sometimes get dizzy when standing. I think it's when I get up quickly or after sitting fur long periods of time.
Had it years, but it never fails to panic me.
Just wondered if anyone could date experience, thoughts, opinions?

Thanks FMP. I really need a slap lately. I'm in work and it's very hot in here today- stood up- dizzy spell- panic attack. I know I've had it for years and I've told the dr when it first started happening and they were unconcerned. Just keep getting into a panic out of nothing though.

I'm getting dizzy when I stand up also, and keep feeling like I can't breath and if I get up to quick I feel so faint and dizzy. It's worse in warm weather or if I walk in to a hot room or get in a hot bath I instantly panic and overheat. I panic over it all the time.

Yeh, me too.

It caused me a bit of stress earlier in the year. Don't feel too bad Daisy, we've all been there.
