itchy nipple!

I'm a 27 year old male with an itchy nipple. Told the doctor about it, had a check up, but he can't see anything. He suggested it could be something muscular due to work and stress.

It tends to go away when doing something active or sweating, but as soon as I sit or lie down, I feel it, and it feels itchy and has that uncomfortable sensitive feeling.
It always comes this time of the year.
Anyone had anything like this? What can I do to ease it?

If it's around this time of year, could allergies have anything to do with it? I know it sounds silly but maybe try an allergy med to see if it will subside!
