ive been taking 20mg on and off for some time now and nytol one a night other nights to help me sleep my anxiety has got really bad of late and wonderd if this was the temazapam

Temazepam is a benzodiazepam and as such can cause addiction or tolerance to form after two weeks use.
I eventually developed INTERDOSE withdrawal symptoms when my body was craving more of the drug.

One of the withdrawal symptoms IS increased anxiety.

If this is the case with you,
I would advise you to discuss this with your GP
And
Form a proper withdrawal schedule.
