I hit my head very hard, Now I'm Worried

Last night I hit my head very hard on a wall. I felt no nausea or unconsciousness afterwards, and went to sleep as normal. Today I occasionally feel a slight pain in the area that I hit my head in, and hear occasional clicking noises. Should I be concerned about this?

I was told my neurosurgeon that if you are perfectly okay after 24 hrs ( no change in consciousness or vomiting etc) after a knock on the head then its very very unlikely anthing else will occur.
The clicking noise could be due to strained tendon in your neck.

I had a concussion earlier this year and waited until the next day to get checked out. The doctor said if I had already gone to sleep and woken up, I was past the part you should be concerned about and would be fine.
