Very anxious right now

Well Iv finally hot appointment for lump under tongue. It's on Tuesday and I'm so scared 😢😢 I have waited 15 weeks for appointment so scared if it is cancer Iv had it a while. It's not painful and I mess with it with my tongue and touch it all the time. So scared hate HA xx

That's great you have an appointment. Hopefully that will knock this on it's head for you and you'll be reassured. A few years ago I had a lump in my mouth - it was quite big (around 1 cm) and it bled. I went to a specialist and it was nothing... just lymph tissue. which has gone now that I'm on corticosteroids.

Thank u so much for taking the time to reply. Glad ur lump was nothing serious. I'm just a mess right now with worry a lump to me is cancer end of. That my HA head again

Yeah, we have lymph tissue all over our mouths and throat apparently... that's what makes it look so bumpy and uneaven. Wherever you look in the body most lumps are not cancer. Hold on to that. xxx
