Effexor

Hi I was recently put on Effexor for my anxiety. The lowest dose possible. I was just wondering if anyone else was taking it and how they liked it? Or how long it took for it to work for them. Thanks! :)

Hi Ellen, I started this 4 weeks ago. It's been added to my mirtazapine as that wasn't doing enough.

I did a week on 37.5 and now 3 weeks on 75. It seemed to started making things better by week three and into week 4 but have now had 5 days where anxiety is kicking my butt again. It's not always an easy ride, but if you aren't getting bade side effects you may find benefits fairly quickly.
