I'm 39 years old and for a few months now my stomach is bloated to the point where I look pregnant. I am also having a lot of gas. I'm terrified that it could be ovarian cancer as I know this can be one of the only symptoms. I am slim but my diet isn't the greatest, I guess I could have put on a bit of weight but normally that would go to my hips, not just my tummy. My doctor pretty much dismissed it as nothing to worry about, mainly because of my age I think. It doesn't help that I read once that women with ovarian cancer usually have to make multiple visits to the doctor before anyone diagnoses them and the prognosis for ovarian cancer isn't good at all, so I'm freaking out :(
