I've had it a number of years ago, had an ultrasound and an ECG done, and it proved to be nothing. After I'd had the tests done, the fluttering went away, as if by magic, which made me think it was just anxiety-related. Also, I was told by doctors that everyone's heart skips a beat from time to time and that a mini arrhythmia like that is quite common and nothing to be concerned about. :)

Yes, it's really common with anxiety. I've had times where mine has done this on and off all day and other times when it happens only once or twice a day and sometimes It doesn't happen for a while. Tests came back normal.

Heaps of people with anxiety have this.

Yes. Every single day. Had it for an hour last night whilst trying to sleep. 90% of the time I can ignore them. This forum has an entire section on it because it's so common.
