I have GERD and this past week I've had constant shortness of breathe and acid reflux but at night it gets really bad I start coughing and get post nasal drip and feel like gasping for air. I know laryngospasm is caused by Gerd but I never have had a feeling like I'm striding for air which I know is what happens for 30-60 seconds with laryngospasm when the vocal chords spasm and close but I fear it will eventually get worse and I'll be feeling like I'm breathing out a straw. the doctor put me on an anti acid but I have all the risks in developing laryngospasm I fear I'll get it any moment :(
