Slurred speech

Sometimes people ask me to repeat what im saying and i feel like im slurring and my speech is weird does anyone know what true slurred speech would be like. When i repeat what im saying the person usually understands it as i say it slowly and more clearly

Generally one knows slurred speech when they hear it. But I will say slurred speech often accompanies anxiety to one degree or another.

That is true, when you are really anxious you can trip over your words.

I speak quite fast (much more so when I'm stressed) and sometimes I slur my words and even I can't understand what I've just said.

At the height of my anxiety I struggled with words trying to get out of my mouth before I was ready to say them. I'm sure I sounded drunk.
