Restless on Mirtazapine

I have been on Mirtazapine for 2 mo now but was just bumped up to 30mg at bedtime from 15mg for my anxiety. Before I noticed no restlessness and now I am noticing it sporadically especially soon after taking it and then in the hours before taking it again. Anybody else experiencing similar? Does splitting dose help? Is this akathasia?:shrug::shrug:

I'm in the same boat as you, since upping to 30mg have had the same side effect. It got so bad I wasn't sleeping so have had to drop back to the 15mg again.

Haven't had any other side effects with this med but I don't feel the 15mg is doing much to help and was hoping upping to 30 would make a difference...oh well back to the drawing board.
To be honest never thought about taking 15mg plus another half. If you try it let me know how you get on.
