View Full Version : Strange sensation I can't explain?! Blood pressure?

Hey guys,

I have been experiencing a symptom of anxiety for over a year now, never really bothered me enough to seek further advice but lately it's been getting on my nerves, literally.

If I am anxious about something i can cause my body to have an adrenaline rush, and this can happen over and over again. This is a horrible feeling but I know exactly how it feels in my body, like liquid being released deep inside.

This is different, when my heart is pounding away and i worry about something I get a short, sharp tingle in my face and body. It mainly happens around my face and head, and I'm pretty sure it's nerves. Though something keeps telling me that it's high blood pressure spiking and that is what I feel.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue for me please?

Thanks!

Would you say it's like a rush or a sensation of tingling. Feels like cold water in your veins?

The best way to describe it is that it happens during warm weather as well. If i am really hot it will be like a spike sensation in my face. It's so short and sharp I couldn't say if it felt like cold water, it's too quick.
