so i've gone from laying down almost all day to doing a lite work and going for walks everyday) still dont feel quite ready to try anything bigger yet. something actually fun.. cinema, meal, golf etc.

I feel like im doing the right thing but I still feel like I hsve to struggle through 2 or 3 bouts of random anxiety a day.

bit of a tough question but how long is this random anxiety likely to hang around? I mean will it just slowly fade as I do more snd more things and get back to my normal life.

(only meds I have are diazepam for emergencies which I take maybe 4-8mg a week - never consequective days)

It takes time. Just keep doing what you're doing, gradually increasing your activity : )

once I can do 1 fun thing again ill be so happy. theres only so much tv/puzzles/walks I can take

I agree it takes time. Has anything set off this random anxiety?
